When I went to Israel, we had a fantastic guide. He was knowledgeable and taught us all he had learned about his country—the good, bad and ugly. 

We have a guide taking us through this life if we let Him. He is the Holy Spirit. It would have been easy to get lost when travelling through Israel. But we stuck with our guide. We need to do the same with the Holy Spirit. Where He leads, you need to follow. 

 “….when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you.” John 16:12-17
