Work; is it Necessary?

If you have lost a job, you may be well aware of the desire to work. God has placed a desire for us to work as it gives us a sense of accomplishment and the knowledge we have provided a need, in some way.

It is important that work is approached with a balanced attitude. Some may get endorphins from making a lot of money, and as a result want more and more. But when we approach work as a means to provide our needs and the money belongs to God, we have a sense of peace and contentment.

“Do not overwork to be rich; because of your own understanding, cease! Will you set your eyes on that which is not? For riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away like an eagle toward heaven.”
