The Cross is the power of God.

“Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.” Romans 5:9

God justified us through Jesus’s shed blood and provided a means for salvation.  As a result, we are made right in God’s eyes.

“For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.”  1 Cor 1:18
