Why is there so much pain and suffering? We live in a fallen world. Adam and Eve’s choices paved the way for humanity. They chose to listen to Satan vice God. God cursed both of them and their seed. However, God sent His son to die on the cross for you. Jesus was the curse on the cross, “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”),” Gal 3:13

You do not need to live in bondage, “…if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” John 8:36
