Why Do Things Happen?

Have you ever wondered why bad things happen to those who love and are serving the Lord? If we look at Job, we see that his suffering was used as an example how to handle calamity. He never cursed God, as was suggested by his wife. And God saw Job through to the end, when He blessed Job with double of what he had originally.

So, when we go through difficulties, we must remember to wait on the Lord; He has a plan. And God will never leave us, but will see us through to the end.

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”  Romans 8:28  NKJV

Job’s purpose was to give encouragement to many people who can relate to his suffering. His example brings hope.
