Why?

As I Pray for many that have walked away from the faith, I cannot help to stop and ask why? Why would someone who has tasted the goodness of God turn?  Or have they tasted the goodness of Him who gives us all things?

“He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all–how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?” Romans 8:32 NIV

Have they received Him in His fullness?”

“Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. And this will we do, if God permit. For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.”   Hebrews‬ ‭6:1-6 KJV‬‬

And then I saw this, “And this will we do, if God permit.”

God knows if someone will fall away and does not allow the person to experience the fullness of Him until the person is ready. His grace.

Lord, I ask that you heal Every Christians heart that has turned from you. Show them Your love.  Bind up the wounds and lead them into a rich fullness of Your life.  Help them to see the truth. Help them to know you as you know them. I pray this in Jesus name.
