When we seek counsel from other sources before seeking God, we are making those sources our God.   ChatGPT is a good example.  ChatGPT may say to do this or that. Yet, when we listen to this counsel, we are making Artificial Intelligence (AI) our God.  

God says, “You shall have no other gods before me.” Exodus 20:3 

“To humans belong the plans of the heart, but from the Lord comes the proper answer of the tongue. All a person’s ways seem pure to them, but motives are weighed by the Lord.  Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.”  Proverbs 16:1-3
