Who is the enemy?

So many today are making themselves the enemy and causing diseases. God has created you wonderfully (Psalm 139:14). However, many have self-hate, self-rejection, self-bitterness and guilt; the bottom line is many do not like who God has created them to be and are allergic to themselves. The Bible says, “As a man thinketh in his heart, so he is” (Proverbs 23:7). The result is the separation and the attacking of ourselves, which causes the disease.

The Cleveland Clinic described Autoimmune disease in this way: “Imagine your body is a castle and your immune system is an army fighting off invaders like germs. If the army malfunctions and attacks the castle itself, you may have an autoimmune disease.”

Autoimmune disease is incurable to the medical community. However, God has the answer. The solution is knowing God loves you and that you are wonderfully and beautifully made.

Pray, Lord, cause me to know your love and help me to love myself and others. I bind an unloving spirit and lose God’s love to fill me. Lord, may my whole spirit, soul and body be made whole and complete in you. I pray this in Jesus’ name.
