Who Has the Power?

There are two powers; the powers of darkness and the power of the Light. God is the source of light, and when we turn on a light switch in a room, the darkness disappears. In the dark we can stumble over something because we cannot see.

“He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him. But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.”

I John 2:10,11  NKJV

How do we keep the light on?

“He [Jesus] has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son and His love, in whom we have redemption [our debts of sin are cleared] through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. He [Jesus] is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.”

Colossians 1:13-15  NKJV

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.  Ephesians 6:12  NKJV
