Have you committed your whole heart, soul, and mind to God?   You may have instantly said yes.  However, since God is the only one that truly knows our heart, “… whose heart You know, for You alone know the hearts of all the sons of men,” 1 Kings 8:39.   Ask God if you are putting something before Him, “…If you return to the Lord with all your hearts, then put away the foreign gods … and prepare your hearts for the Lord, and serve Him only; and He will deliver you….” 1 Samuel 7:3 NKJV

“I, the Lord, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings.”  Jer 17:10

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,”  Hebrews 12:1
