Where is my joy?
I should be joyful. Why is my heart turned down?
David asked this very question, “Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me?” Psalm 42:5a
David refocused on God and was lifted up lifted, “Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him For the help of His countenance.” Psalm 42:5b. He refocused on God and started praising the Lord.
Joy is not something we can produce. We need to be walking in the Spirit, at one with the Lord.
