Where Do We Get Help?

When my father passed away, his words and little phrases he would say rang in my ears. Some would bring a smile to me as I would remember, “If you eat your dessert first and die quickly, at least you were able to enjoy it.” Many times he had words of immense wisdom; he was a man with great faith in God.

We cannot remember words that were never spoken or words that were never heard (accepted). We know that Jesus left us with much wisdom that brings life and healing. But, we need to know what words He left with us. We need to know before we can remember.

“These things I [Jesus] have spoken to you while being present with you. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.”           John 14:25,26  NKJV
