I was on an extended business trip across the country—two weeks with long hours. I had made it through the first week, and the weekend had come. I was going to take the opportunity to enjoy the sites. As I was heading out the door, I received a call from my boss. Another person in my office was also on travel, and an accident occurred. I was directed to go to the accident site and gather all the assets and Government property.
It turned out this was a co-leader in my office, and he decided to go sky diving that weekend. He was an experienced skydiver with over 800 jumps behind him. He landed wrong and became paralyzed from the neck down. When the people in the office went to his house, there was a note. The note instructed whoever found it to bring girls and more girls if he was in an accident. The note was a cry for spiritual healing, and God heard it.
When you are in trouble, who do you want to come?
I pray that all know that they can call upon Jesus when they are in trouble, and He will make them well (provide spiritual and physical healing).
“For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives but to save them.” Luke 9:56
“Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:4-5
