When is Now?
I’m sure you can remember as a child when your parent asked you to do something, “now”. That word usually had a sense of urgency. In life we can tend to put decisions and goals on a back burner as we get busy with our everyday routine. We know these things that we procrastinate are important, but how important are they to us?
We can see urgency in the scripture where God says, “…’In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in the day of salvation I have helped you.’ (Isaiah 49:8) Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” II Corinthians 6:2 NKJV
Today is the day God wants to have a relationship with us. He has provided a way for us to have an eternal home with Him. We should never put off such an important relationship with the God of the universe that loves us more than we can imagine.
