“…whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” Mathew 21:22

Whatever is a slang term meaning “I don’t care what you say” or “what will be will be”.   This is not how our Lord is using this word. Whatever means anything or everything.  

Everything or anything you ask in prayer, believe, and you will receive. The key is you need to believe. God says that the double minded will receive nothing.

“For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.” James 1:8
