When my oldest daughter was young, she could not stand to be dirty/stained. She immediately had to change her clothes. We should be just like her when it comes to sin. Sin leaves a stain. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9-10

We need to prepare ourselves; time is short; when Jesus comes, He expects His bride to be ready, “Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready. And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.” Revelation 19:7-8
