What is an idol? Do you know that you or your family could be worshipping idols? An Idol is anything that we put before God. “They have been quick to turn away from what I commanded them and have made themselves an idol…Do not make any idols” Exodus 32:8, 34:17

We have been commanded to “‘love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ Mathew 22:37. This is not a suggestion. This is a commandment. Can you honestly say you love God with all your heart, soul and mind. If not, repent of whatever you have raised up before God and lay it down at His feet.

The things that people worship will end in death. When you see people worshipping the things of the world (cars, drugs, doctors, football teams, money, house, children, husbands) it should pull our hearts to prayer.

Pray that they turn “to God from idols to serve the living and true God” 1 These 1:9
