Our thoughts often go to what we want or desire, which will make us happy. What about what God wants or what pleases Him?

Our focus should be on bringing God glory and serving Him. We don’t need to be perfect to do this; God will still use you if your heart is leaning toward Him. When our eyes are on our King, He will bless us and give us our heart’s desires.     

“If my house were not right with God, surely he would not have made with me an everlasting covenant, arranged and secured in every part; surely he would not bring to fruition my salvation and grant me my every desire.” 2 Samuel 23:5
