It is planting season in the physical, and seed is being put down into the ground to produce a good crop. Why should it be any different in our spiritual life? We need to sow good things in our lives to produce the fruit of righteousness.
The Bible shows us in several places the importance of sowing good things into our lives, and when we do so, we will reap the same.
This morning I was reading Psalm 126:5. Many believe the things that cause us to weep are terrible. Yet, God’s word says,
”Those who sow in tears Shall reap in joy.” Psalms 126:5 NKJV
Do you want joy to come back into your life? Please don’t turn away from grief; ignore it by keeping busy.
Blessed are those who mourn (Mathew 5:4)
Great joy will come to those who drop a seed and tear.
“He who continually goes forth weeping, Bearing seed for sowing,
Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, Bringing his sheaves with him.” Psalms 126:6 NKJV
