What are you hiding, covering up because you are afraid to face the circumstances?  Could it be emotions such as shame, guilt, fear or anger?

“So they hid from the Lord God among the trees.” Gen 3:12.  Out of fear and shame, Adam and Eve hid.

However,  “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable.”  Hebrews 4:13

“For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. Hebrews 4:12

Lord, I ask that you expose today what has been hidden, walled off.  Bring it out into the open, so you may heal the wounds that have caused this barrier.  Lead us into a deeper relationship with you.  I thank you, Lord, for your word and grace that you extend every day to those hearts that are leaning toward you.
