We are living in perilous times, last days (2 Timothy 3:1-9; Mathew 24). However, we do not need to fear. As we humble ourselves; and seek the Lord He will protect us.
David prayed, “keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings,” Psalm 17:8
Boaz said to Ruth in the Book of Ruth, “The LORD recompense you for what you have done, and a full reward be given you by the LORD, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge!”
We see in scripture as we seek God, come into His presence, His grace and mercy will cover us. It is His truth, the light that shines forth, His countenance upon the wings of the Cherubims that are covering the Mercy seat. Into the Holy of Holies, we are called.
“And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, “Exodus 25:22
“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” Psalm 1:1-2
