“Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked—“ Revelations 3:17 NKJV.
A loss makes us realize our wealth is not in this world. It is in our eternal salvation.
Revelations 3:5 promises, “He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.”
Revelations 12:11 tells us how to overcome, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.”
I pray that we are overcomers in Christ. We give Christ our whole heart (faith) and mind (hope). 1 Thessalonians 5:8 says, “…putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation.”
