If you have experienced a loss, take comfort in knowing you are not alone. God is with you. Not only do you have this wonderful blessing, but God also calls your brothers and sisters in Christ to walk beside you, encouraging you and leading you to the one who can lift your head high, Jesus.

As I was writing this devotion, my mind drifted to the beautiful sound that an orchestra can make. This large group of people coming together to harmonise through many different instruments.

“No one can whistle a symphony. It takes an orchestra to play it”. 

God’s people are like an orchestra, each given a gift, to aid in supporting others. To build them up in Christ and allow the person who is grieving to hear beautiful music again.

“How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!” Psalm 133:1. Take comfort in knowing that God comes to heal the brokenhearted (Psalm 147:3)
