Waiting?

Have you been waiting for a miracle? A miracle of healing, a new job, your finances to get better, or maybe a precious child. If so, then the time is now. Christmas is the season and reason for you to have hope. During the season of Advent we remember, celebrate and wait for the arrival of Jesus. He is our Hope. Isaiah prophesied approximately 600 years before Christ coming that God would send His son to the earth.

“Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel” Isaiah 7:14

God’s son would be born of a virgin, be a sacrifice for our sin and waywardness, and show us The Father. It was out of God’s grace that we can have hope. Hope is based on faith, faith in God’s word and as a result, we have the confident expectation that good will happen.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, ” 1 Peter 1:3
