Waiting is difficult; it takes patience. Jesus told the disciples to wait for The Promise of the Father.

“Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.” Luke 24:49

What if the disciples had not waited? Would there be a church today? Tomorrow is the Day of Pentecost. Are you waiting for something more?  Do you feel like your Christian walk is missing something?  You no longer have to wait. You just need to ask Jesus.  

John the Baptist said, “I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me comes one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.”  Mathew 3:11 

Do you want more of God? Ask to be Baptized by Jesus and wait for the power of the Holy Spirit to come upon you so you can be His witness.
