When God tells you to wait, what do you do?

Many see a response of “wait” from God as unfavourable. Yet there is a purpose; He is working everything out for your good.  

“Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!” Psalm 27:14

While we wait, we must be strong, not cave in and go ahead of the Lord.  

“For since the beginning of the world Men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, Nor has the eye seen any God besides You, Who acts for the one who waits for Him.” Isaiah 64:4
