As I sit in my office, riding out snow storm Jonas. I am reminded of the blessings of the Lord. I have a warm house, food and water to sustain me for some time.

I had a friend call yesterday that wrecked her car in the storm and was stranded and could not get home. She had no money on her. Someone was kind enough to give her a voucher to get a couple of meals at the snow lodge and a place for her to stay for the next three days.

I sometimes analyze situations like this and ask God why.  Why do some have provision and others are stranded? The Lord said, “The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law. Deuteronomy 29:29 NKJV

I know, “… that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 NIV
