“For you have heard of my former conduct in Judaism, how I persecuted the church of God beyond measure and tried todestroy it.” Gal 1:13

Paul thought what he was doing was right.   He received permission from the high priest to carry out his mission to arrest Christians and put them in prison.  He was deceived.  The funny thing about a person who is deceived is that they don’t even know it.  Paul wasn’t persecuting Christians; he was persecuting Jesus.  

“Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?” Acts 9:4

When our conduct does not reflect Christ, it is against Christ.  Be one with God: “But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit.” 1 Corinthians 6:17
