The enemy took the sword and twisted the words of God when he tempted Jesus the second time.

“and saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: And in their hands they shall bear thee up, Lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.” Matthew‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Notice the missing scripture “to keep thee in all thy ways.”

Help us, Lord, to take the sword of the spirit and rightly divide the word of truth for your glory. I pray this in Jesus name.
