“For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion;” Psalm 27:5
David was strengthening his heart. He knew that times of trouble would come. He was a “prepper”. A “prepper” is a person who believes a disaster or crisis is likely to occur in the future and makes active preparations for it.
David set his heart, soul and mind to seek the Lord. We need to be active, not sit passively by, and let the high waters drown us.
“For this cause everyone who is godly shall pray to You in a time when You may be found; Surely in a flood of great waters They shall not come near him.” Psalm 32:6.
God will hide and protect you, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” Psalm 91:1
