When we are in a spiritually dead state (physically or emotionally) we want thrills.

Climb the highest mountain; jump out of a plane, or even to have sex outside of marriage.

But what is the thrill?  It is a moment and then the deadness comes back.  Ask yourself if you are masking the pain?

“But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.”  Isaiah 40:31

“You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.” Psalm 16:11
