I played softball in my youth and getting up to bat created excitement and anxiety. I did not want to let my team down. The worst thing a batter could hear was that you are out on three strikes.

We are on a team and part of the body of Christ. What we do not want to hear is a warning from our fellow Christians,

“Warn a divisive person once, and then warn them a second time. After that, have nothing to do with them.” Titus 3:10

We need to keep ourselves valid for the Kingdom.

“Those who cleanse themselves….will be instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.” 2 Timothy 2:21
