“The righteousness of the blameless will direct his way aright, But the wicked will fall by his own wickedness.” Proverbs 11:5

As I go through the Bible, I find a verse that brings a smile to my face once in a while. Proverbs 11:5 is one of those verses. Yes! The wicked are going to get what is coming to them. But then, as I meditate on the verse, I thought of God’s desire for all to come, and we are to love our enemies and bless those who curse us (Mathew 5:44). 

But who are the wicked? According to the Bible, the definition of wicked is the state of being wicked; a mental disregard for justice, righteousness, truth, honor, virtue; evil in thought and life; depravity; sinfulness; criminality.” We see a lot of wickedness today. 

The wicked are the opposite of the righteous. The wicked are on the other side of the fence. They are walking and are in agreement with Satan. Pray for those that are wicked, you will know them; they will have fallen by their own devices.
