The robe of many colors is torn (Trauma: rape/molestations)

In 2 Samuel 13, Prince Amnon raped his half-sister Tamar. She was commanded to leave her half-brothers presence, shamed. She was told afterward to “Be quiet for now, my sister;”

So many that have been raped live in silence. It is an unspeakable act, that is rarely spoken. However, in order to overcome, to be healed, the story must be told, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony…” (Rev 12:11); tears must be shed, “Those who sow in tears Shall reap in joy.” (Psalm 126:5) ; and, you need time to heal. We can’t undo what has happened. However, you can push into the Lord, and in His time he will restore all, “…Revive us, and we will call upon Your name. Restore us, O Lord God of hosts; Cause Your face to shine, And we shall be saved!” Psalm 80:18-19
