Have you heard? There is a prophetic word. When we think of a prophetic word, we often look to the prophecy of Christ coming in Isaiah. At Christmas time, the message goes around the world in Christmas cards (Isaiah 7:14, 9:6). What if I were to tell you that there is a word you need right now?
“Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets” Amos 3:7
One-third of the Bible is a prophetic word; 2 Timothy 3:16 tells us that God breathes out all scripture, including the prophetic word. There is a great debate on when Christ will come back. But, there does not need to be because scripture tells us.
“Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we ask you, brothers, not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by a spirit or a spoken word, or a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called God or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.” 2 Thess 2:1-4
We know from this scripture that Christ will not return until the Anti-Christ rises. So what are you to do now? “…receive the love of the truth.” 2 Thess 2:10. Jesus said regarding the last days, “Take heed that no one deceives you (Mathew 24:4). Through God’s word and the Holy Spirit, you will be able to discern the truth.
