The most important question

The most important question of your life is, are you saved?

Many people think they will go to heaven if they don’t do anything really bad and believe in God; is this true? Short answer: no!

James 2:19 says, “You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.”

So, how do you become saved? A more critical question is, how do you remain saved?

God has made it easy for us; He sent His son, Jesus, to die for our sins. Because of our sins, we deserve death (Romans 6:23). God is a loving God, but He is also a just God, and He can not go against the laws He has laid down. So, He sent His son Jesus to take the penalty for our sins. Jesus justified us by dying on the cross.

So, “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” Romans 10:9-10

Do you believe?

Now, the most critical question is, how do you remain saved?

Jesus tells us, “But he who endures to the end shall be saved.” Mathew 24:13. We must endure. The word endure means to remain steadfast, faithful, and patient. We can not do this in our own strength. Ask Jesus to help you. He is faithful!
