Growing up in many parts of the world afforded the opportunity to experience the cultures of the people. Ceremonial festivals were widespread in Japan and masks were often worn during these festivals. The masks typically represented gods/demons. Masks hide and coverup; portray a different image.
Many Christians today are wearing masks to create an image that was not created by our maker.
“All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” John 1:3
We need to take off our masks and show our true self. Ask the Lord to show you what you are hiding. “For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.” Luke 12:2
