We cannot even come close to understanding the love of God.  It is only through the revelation of the Holy Spirit that we understand the love He has for us.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”  John 3:16

God did not sacrifice His Son at the spur of the moment as a backup plan.  This was predestined.   Paul declared the hidden wisdom of God spoken by the Holy Spirit through him, “But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.”  1 Corinthians 2:7-8

God loves us so much that He planned before creation to give His beloved Son for us.  Jesus, being obedient to His Father, sacrificed His life out of this love.   What extravagant love.   Make a decision as David did: “I will love You, O’Lord my strenght” Psalm 18:1.  Ask the Holy Spirit to pour His love into you today
