Discouragement can come upon you when you are serving the Lord.
The enemy knows that your heart is set on bringing glory to God, so he will try and disrupt the work and attempt to make you feel discouraged.
“Then the people of the land tried to discourage the people of Judah. They troubled them in building,” Ezra 4:4
Joshua tells us several things to do when discouragement starts knocking, “…Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
Remember, the work we do in Christ is God’s work. He will be with us and fight our battles.
“This is what the Lord says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.” 2 Chronicles 20:15
