The day after

Many speak about the spirit of Christmas, where joy, peace, kindness and love prevail, and when Christmas is over, things return to what many call normal.

The spirit of Christmas is typified by the fruits of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:21-23). The enemy does everything to oppose the renewed mind and heart in Christ. God tells us to “Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.” Galatians 5:16. Christians should not be like the world. We should be reflecting Christ every day. Not just at Christmas.

However, some have not proclaimed that Christ came in the flesh. The Bible tell us these people have the Spirit of AntiChrist.

“By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.” 1 John 4:2-3. Jesus said in the last days, there would be many antichrists.

If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your savior, you can confess today He is the Lord of your life. “if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9

Overcome the world’s ways, the so-called normal, “because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” 1 John 4:4
