Are we still thankful the day after? The house may be a disaster, and there may be so much before you. But is your heart set on God and His goodness?   

God had blessed His covenant people so abundantly and had set them free from captivity, yet, they went back to their old way of life, “To this day they continue practicing the former rituals; they do not fear the Lord, nor do they follow their statutes or their ordinances, or the law and commandment which the Lord had commanded the children of Jacob, whom He named Israel…” 2 Kings 17:34

God is continuously blessing us and caring for us. We must continue to be thankful for all we see and don’t see, so our hearts do not become darkened.    “ although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.” Romans 1:21
