The Courts of Heaven

If we really think about it, there are courts in heaven that have righteous judgment. God is the God of truth; His judgments are based on all of the facts, and He rules justly in His Kingdom.

“Give to the LORD the glory due His name; bring offering, and come into His courts. For He is coming, for He is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with His truth.”

Psalm 96:8,13  NKJV

So, who is our adversary? “…your [our] adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” (I Peter 5:8) Our enemy wants to tell lies about us in the heavenly court. “…and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them [us] before God day and night, has been cast down.” (Revelation 12:10b) And the only way we can win in God’s court is, “by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their [our] testimony.” (Rev 12:11)

We can have confidence and assurance as we serve Jesus, the Lamb of God, that on that day when all truth will be known in His court, all of our repented sins will be covered by His precious blood.

“…For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written: ‘As I live, says the LORD, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God.’ So then each of us shall give account of himself to God.”
