There is a connection between the way we think and what comes upon us.

“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:…” Proverbs 23:7

If you proclaim, I have _ __ disease”, then you agree with what the enemy has mapped out for your life.

God tells us to renew our minds (Romans 12:2). Why does He tell us to do this? God wants our minds to come into alignment with His word. Remember, with every ungodly belief; there is a lie.

God’s word says we are to hold every thought captive, “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;” 2 Corinthians 10:5

We are to guard our heart above all else (Proverbs 24:20-27); what comes out of our mouth reflects our hearts (Mathew 15:18).

“Therefore you shall lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul (mind, will and emotions), and bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.” Deut 11:18
