Advent is a season of preparation and celebration of Jesus’ birth and the preparation for the second coming of Jesus.
During this season, we must remember that “our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,” Phil 3:20
We must do away with earthly things that might pull us from Christ. We live in the present evil age, but Jesus came so that we might be delivered from it (Galatians 1:4).
So, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind.” Romans 12:2
Push into Christ this season so others can see Christ in you. Remember, you are the light of the world (Mathew 5:14). “…let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Mathew 5:16
