As I sit and stare at my checklist, which seems to be getting longer and longer, I am reminded, that my life with Christ is not a checklist of accomplishments. I am alive by the grace of God, and it is not of works that I am saved,  through justification; I continue to be saved every day through sanctification and will be saved through the eternal life of Christ Jesus.  

“Surely every man walks about like a shadow; Surely they busy themselves in vain; He heaps up riches, And does not know who will gather them.  “And now, Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in You.”  Psalm 39:6-7
