The silence I sought by coming to the cabin was a scratch of what I truly was seeking.   I was seeking truth….  Sometimes it is only in the silence we can hear the truth.  His word’s echoed in my heart, “What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked him. The blind man said, “Rabbi, I want to see.”  Mark 10:51.

Hmmm.  What did I want Jesus to do for me?  In the silence, I heard the answer.

“My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to one’s whole body.”  Proverbs 4:20-22
