We can see the greatness of God’s power unfolding from the beginning of the Bible to the end.
Revelation 1:8 says, :“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”
To understand God’s power, according to Paul, we need a revelation of it. In Ephesians 1:18-20, He prayed that God’s people would know the exceeding greatness of his power toward us.
“The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,”
Ephesians 1:18-20
Paul prayed for heart knowledge, not head knowledge. God’s power is part of who He is; it is part of His character, it is who He is, the Almighty God.
