Sometimes the Lord takes you back to move you forward. As I crossed over the Harry Nice bridge from Virginia to Maryland, my heart skipped a beat. Memories of times past overtook me. God was bringing me back to the place where my family was once together. I remembered the old saying; we must walk through the water to get to the other side. I smiled as I transcended over the bridge. I knew that day that God would part the waters to heal my heart and protect me.
“So the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea on the dry ground, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.” Exodus 14:22
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.” Isaiah 43:2
