In What State Do You Choose to Live?

I live in the beautiful state of Virginia. But, during my lifetime I have resided in three other states and another country. We have the privilege of choosing where we want to live.

In our spiritual lives we also have the choice of the state of our heart. Whatever the state of our heart, will be the state of our life. If we don’t like our circumstances we may need to change our heart. This happens by submitting our lives completely to God. It is not always easy but the commitment is worth it.

“My son, keep my words, and treasure my commands within you. Keep my commands and live, and my law as the apple of your eye. Bind them on your fingers; write them on the tablet of your heart.”
