“Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.”  Mathew 24:12-13

So how are we to stand firm? Isaiah 7:9 gives us a clue, “…If you do not stand firm in your faith, you will not stand at all.” Isaiah 7:9

“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” Hebrews 11:1

We are to set our hope on Jesus Christ and eagerly await His coming. “For we through the Spirit eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.” Galatians 5:5
